This female mama owl has just arrived at her nest with a large rat, ready to feed her two owlets with big yellow eyes a tasty meal. Owls are excellent hunters, and on the top of the food chain of raptors and birds of prey. Her beautiful feathers are a sight to behold to the bird watcher, and watching her feed her children shows the fascinating care and gentleness she gives to her offspring.

My life's motto is "LIfe is too short not to live it in color!" You will find a lot of vibrant color in my images. My photography is the "canvas" for my artwork. I love to create unique works of art with each photo that I take, and often include textures and filters. I love capturing the beauty of nature -- from magnificent landscapes to the tiniest of creatures. Whether I am strolling through my garden or peering through the window of an airplane, I am in awe of what I see. Despite the world being filled with hate, loneliness and despair, it contains far more beauty and delight.
