This male daddy great horned owl, with his big owl eyes, sits upon a large branch, and is on the "lookout" while his two owlets and his mate are nesting in a borrowed osprey nest several hundred feet away during owl nesting season. This owl and his family reside in Sandestin's Jolee Island, a nature park in Miramar Beach Florida. Photography by ©TK Goforth and signed by the artist, all rights reserved.

My life's motto is "LIfe is too short not to live it in color!" You will find a lot of vibrant color in my images. My photography is the "canvas" for my artwork. I love to create unique works of art with each photo that I take, and often include textures and filters. I love capturing the beauty of nature -- from magnificent landscapes to the tiniest of creatures. Whether I am strolling through my garden or peering through the window of an airplane, I am in awe of what I see. Despite the world being filled with hate, loneliness and despair, it contains far more beauty and delight.
