This mama Great Horned owl and her cute baby owlet with big yellow eyes sit atop a nest that the family has taken over from an osprey family. Great horned owls do not build their own nests, but "borrow" them from other large birds or squirrels. My life's motto is "LIfe is too short not to live it in color!" You will find a lot of vibrant color in my images. My photography is the "canvas" for my artwork. I love to create unique works of art with each photo that I take, and often include textures and filters. I love capturing the beauty of nature -- from magnificent landscapes to the tiniest of creatures. Whether I am strolling through my garden or peering through the window of an airplane, I am in awe of what I see. Despite the world being filled with hate, loneliness and despair, it contains far more beauty and delight.
