This is Texas' state flower, the lovely bluebonnet. These beautiful blue flowers cover the prairies and roadsides of central and southern Texas and it is unlawful to pick them. They are also called buffalo clover, wolf flower, and el conejo. During the spring, many people take drives out to the country in order to discover a "bluebonnet sighting." This and "Bluebonnet of Texas" make a lovely set to pair together.
My life's motto is "LIfe is too short not to live it in color!" You will find a lot of vibrant color in my images. My photography is the "canvas" for my artwork. I love to create unique works of art with each photo that I take, and often include textures and filters. I love capturing the beauty of nature -- from magnificent landscapes to the tiniest of creatures. Whether I am strolling through my garden or peering through the window of an airplane, I am in awe of what I see. Despite the world being filled with hate, loneliness and despair, it contains far more beauty and delight.
