This landmark is one of the most "famous" in the area of Houston Heights, located on 19th Street. "The Heights" of Houston is the highest point in the city of Houston, hence its name. It is a diverse historical area which was annexed in 1919. According to Wikipedia, " A National Geographic article said that the Houston Heights 'is said to be home to the highest concentration of professional artists' in Texas."
