This female great horned owl is mama to two owlets and lives with her family in Jolee Island, which is a nature park in Sandestin, Miramar Beach, Florida. Great horned owls do not build their own nests, but "borrow them from other large birds of prey such as osprey or eagles, and also nest of squirrels. My life's motto is "LIfe is too short not to live it in color!" You will find a lot of vibrant color in my images. My photography is the "canvas" for my artwork. I love to create unique works of art with each photo that I take, and often include textures and filters. I love capturing the beauty of nature -- from magnificent landscapes to the tiniest of creatures. Whether I am strolling through my garden or peering through the window of an airplane, I am in awe of what I see. Despite the world being filled with hate, loneliness and despair, it contains far more beauty and delight.
