Description
Taken in a field of coral colored Indian Paintbrush and Texas Bluebonnets in early Spring in Southwest Texas. This is Texas' state flower. These beautiful blue flowers cover the prairies and roadsides of central and southern Texas and it is unlawful to pick them. They are also called buffalo clover, wolf flower, and el conejo. During the spring, many people take drives out to the country in order to discover a "bluebonnet sighting."
